Distinguished Service Professor Joseph Cropsey specializes in the history of political philosophy from Greek antiquity to modern times. Though Emeritus, he continues to offer an occasional course in political philosophy. He is the author of Political Philosophy and the Issues of Politics and coeditor with Leo Strauss of History of Political Philosophy.
