Dissertation Title: Explaining Effectiveness in Modern Counterinsurgency
I am a Postdoctoral fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. I defended my Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Chicago in August 2018. My research interests are in international security and comparative politics of South Asia with current work focusing on counterinsurgency, counterterrorism, drone warfare, and political violence. Some of my research has appeared in Security Studies and is forthcoming in International Security. My commentary has appeared in the Washington Post Monkey Cage.
