The Race and Capitalism Project, initiated by the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture, has been invited to collaborate with the SSRC Scholarly Borderlands Initiative. Professors Michael Dawson (UChicago) and Megan Ming Francis (University of Washington) are the co-directors of the Project. The Scholarly Borderlands program hosts highly-original or experimental projects that have the potential to yield “high-rewards,” including impact, output, scholarly agenda-setting, or new forms of collaboration.
