Brady is joining the department from the University of Chicago Law School. He completed his 1L year in 2022 and then took a two-year leave of absence to work as an empirical research fellow at BYU Law while his wife finished her schooling at Brigham Young University. He has just completed his 2L year at the Law School and will be primarily focused on PhD coursework over the next several years. His research interests focus on institutional competencies and uses of empirical evidence in the lawmaking process.
