Carlos Morado is a PhD student in Political Theory at the University of Chicago. His research interests include the history of political thought and intellectual history, with a particular focus on anticolonial thought, the history of science, and nineteenth-century Latin American politics. Carlos is the recipient of the Joseph Cropsey Prize for the best MA Thesis in Political Philosophy. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, he lived and studied in St. Gallen, Paris, Frankfurt, and New York.
