Hope Dancy is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago, specializing in International Relations. With a specific emphasis on history, Hope's research interests include colonialism, asymmetric conflict, sovereignty, and international agreements. 

Prior to pursuing her doctorate, Hope earned an M.Sc. in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a B.A. in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University.
