Pete Cuppernull is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago studying international relations and quantitative methodology. His research interests include international political economy, data politics, causal inference, and machine learning.
Pete received his BA from the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University. Before coming to the University of Chicago, Pete interned at the European Committee of the Regions and worked as a research and business analyst at Factset Research Systems, studying corporate governance, takeover defense, and shareholder activism.
