Pete Cuppernull Email

Pete Cuppernull is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago studying international relations and quantitative methodology. His dissertation seeks to understand the role of private sector technology firms and large scale consumer data collection in international politics. Pete interned with Core Data Science at Meta during his PhD studies, where he led the development and implementation of a privacy-preserving data set focused on social impact.

Before coming to the University of Chicago, Pete worked at the European Committee of the Regions and served as a research and business analyst at Factset Research Systems, studying corporate governance, takeover defense, and shareholder activism. Pete received his BA from the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University.
