
Gabriel Foy-Sutherland is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science, specializing in American political parties, interest groups, and elections. His work is published or forthcoming at American Politics Research and Election Law Journal, and has been covered by The Guardian, Politico, Business Insider, and other outlets. This research has also been supported by funding from the Stan I. Bach Fellowship for Congressional Studies, the Bradley Fellowship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Malyi Center for the Study of Institutional and Legal Integrity, and the University of Chicago Forum for Free Inquiry and Expression. From November 2025, he will serve as an APSA Congressional Fellow in the 2025-26 cohort.
